We GATHERed

Gather 2017

On the eve of UTC’s graduation weekend, men and women came from the surrounding Chattanooga area to GATHER together to uplift and build MOMentum with each other.

The night started off with a Sip & Shop with local vendors participating in the MOM Market who donated a portion of their sales back to The MOMentum Network. MOCtails & Music by Drakeford were also a treat.

We had a silent auction which contained some amazing items and where 100% of the bids were also donated to The MOMentum Network.

After shopping and bidding, we continued to the dining area where we broke bread and indulged in a family-style dinner provided by Culinary Creations. At dinner guests were provided with conversation cards that helped them to see the part they could play in helping improve not only a single mom’s life but her child’s life as well.

The MOMentum Scholars and Interns were recognized & our two graduating moms that were honored were Merilee Bellamy and LaKhyia Lee. MOMentum Scholar, Merilee had a special tribute in honor of her and her son’s journey.

GATHER was a wonderful night full of love, laughter and friendship. Everyone who entered The Venue that night instantly became part of The MOMentum Village and it was a wonderful thing to experience.  Not to mention all of the children of single mothers that came to GATHER were treated to a special celebration just for them, complete with the opportunity to craft a gift for their moms for Mother’s Day.

Special thanks to our Sponsors–with your support, 100% of funds raised at GATHER support MOMentum Programs:
