Donation Policy

The MOMentum Network is committed to offering support to single moms in need, and we know it takes a village. Donations (used & new) from our supporters are a significant part of making the mission of this organization possible and sustainable. While we appreciate every donation, we can generally only accept items that can be put to immediate use, or will be used in the near future.

Due to staff capacity, we cannot pick up items. All items must be pre-approved & delivered.

To offer a donation, please send details of items (including pictures) to donate@momentumnetwork.org to see if the donation will fit a current need and/or fit in current space.

In order to be a blessing to children & moms of The MOMentum Network, please consider these specifications when offering a donation:

All items must come from a smoke-free home.

Car seats:
1. must be within expiration date.
2. must not have been in a car wreck.
3. must not have had a manufacturer’s recall issued.
4. must not have broken or missing parts.

Cribs or other baby items:
1. must not have had a manufacturer’s recall issued.
2. must not have broken or missing parts.

Clothes:

1. should be in excellent used condition without stains, tears, overstretched fabric/elastic.
2. should be washed before donating.

Household Items:

1. should be in excellent working condition.
2. should be washed before donating.

Not Accepted:

1. Used medical equipment.
2. Used undergarments.
3. Anything with vulgar/offensive mottos, logos, etc.

The Donation Process

1. Check all items to make sure they fit appropriate specifications.
2. Email donate@momentumnetwork.org to confirm the donation is needed.
3. If yes, set up an appointment window to deliver to 1152 Lincoln Park Ln, Chattanooga, TN 37403. Office hours for accepting donations will be 10am-3pm. After hours donations can be accepted, but an appointment is required. Typically, we are NOT able to respond to donation offers after hours or accept donations same day.
4. If not needed, we will direct to another collaborative entity that may be able to use the donated items.
