Scholar Program
Now Accepting Applicants
The primary purpose of our Scholar Success Program is to empower moms to build networks with other moms, community leaders and business partners that will be a catalyst that helps them build momentum.
In addition to this, participants selected will receive:

Up to $1000 in Financial Aid based on completion of the Scholars Success Program

Mentor who will cheer you on throughout the year

Discounts and Giveaways from local businesses as available that will help you stay on track toward building a better future.

Free Meals and Childcare at meetings
Participants selected commit to:

Being intentional about making the most of their college experience
-
Attending and participating in monthly meetings for at least one full academic year.

Connecting with their mentor weekly (via phone is okay)

Thinking about how their success impacts their families, community and future and making bold choices to shatter statistics and build momentum.

Communicating with MOMentum Success Coach to overcome challenges
PARTICIPANT QUALIFICATIONS

Single (divorced, widowed, or never married/not living with your partner)
-
Pregnant or have a child (ren) under the age of 11
-
Enrolled in a degree seeking program
Participants must be able to attend the Success Sessions typically held on the second Saturday of each month.

We will reach out to send interview links to attendees of orientation

At least 5 scholars will be chosen based on demonstrated commitment to building a better future, application essays & interview, cohort composition, academic excellence and financial need.
